The other is chapter 16 from a book called "The Craft of Research” (you can find pdf file
attached in the Recommended Reading list of this session)
• You have to start writing before you think you're ready to write. So start writing an op-ed about an issue related to climate change!
• You have to get feedback even if you don't end up taking the reader's advice. Share your
op-ed piece with someone who can give you constructive feedback.
• You should always be looking out for writing moves to try out for yourself. In your own
readings (either for class or on your own), find well-crafted sentences you may want to try in
your own writing.
